Christina Bohannan
Economy
On the economy, the campaign's priorities page calls for ending tariffs to lower costs, barring hedge funds and private investors from buying up family homes and agricultural land, expanding housing construction and rehabilitation, cracking down on corporate price-gouging, and growing jobs and wages while backing union labor.
Health
On health care, the campaign proposes allowing Medicare enrollment at any age, capping insulin at $35/month for all Americans, expanding Medicare's drug-price negotiation power, extending ACA tax credits, reversing Medicaid cuts the campaign says affect more than 100,000 Iowans, adding dental, vision, hearing, and home-health coverage to Medicare, and increasing mental-health resources and rural provider recruitment. It also commits to restoring Roe v. Wade federally and protecting fertility-treatment access.
Agriculture/Food
On agriculture, the campaign says it would reverse tariffs it describes as harmful to farmers, crack down on agricultural monopolies in seed, fertilizer, and processing markets, pass a new Farm Bill prioritizing family farms, expand renewable-energy investment, reduce PFAS and chemical water contamination, and expand incentives for farmers adopting buffer zones and cover crops.
Education
On education, the campaign backs reinvesting in public K-12 schools, opposing voucher programs that redirect public funds to private schools, expanding Career and Technical Education, guaranteeing school-lunch access for all children, and investing specifically in rural and small-town schools.
Governance
On governance, the campaign proposes banning stock trading by members of Congress and Supreme Court justices, a constitutional amendment reversing Citizens United, term limits and age caps for federal officeholders, an independent Congressional Ethics Agency, a permanent lobbying ban for former members, and opening primaries to independent voters.
Economy
The site also states family-support proposals — paid family leave, an expanded Child Care Tax Credit, and expanded Head Start — and a commitment to protecting Social Security and Medicare from privatization or benefit cuts.
